Hi, I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Ghana (1999-2001). I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 with a degree in History. I am interested in exploring spiritual stuff, would like to be a bit more free-spirited but still working through my conservative Christian upbringing. No longer consider myself christian, instead am a spiritual seeker. Influenced by Taoism, Buddhism, Rumi (sufism), Mystical Christian traditions (mostly Benedictine), and whatever else feels right: not necessarily in that order. I'm also a djembe player, I learned that working as an AmeriCorps volunteer at a mental health facility that used drums as part of their therapy. Currently I am studying psychology at the University of West Georgia, a humanistic and transpersonal psych department.
